The A&M Consolidated Tiger Band is the largest spirit organization at A&M Consolidated High School. The 206 member Tiger Band performs at all high school football games, pep rallies, and the annual Bryan College Station Christmas Parade. In addition, the Tiger Band participates in three to five marching contests per year. These contests are generally held the last Saturday of September and throughout the month of October and the first week of November (on state years).
The Tiger Band has a
history of sucessful participation in marching contests. The Tiger Band
has earned division one ratings for many consecutive years, won the Blinn
College Marching Festival the past four years and has won USSBA contest
championships the past three years. Additonally, the Tiger Band has
represented Region 8 at the Area D Marching Contest each year the contest was
held since 1998.
