Jazz Ensemble (HS)
The Consolidated Jazz Band is one of the most popular musical organizations at AMCHS. Membership is through competitive audition and all members of the Jazz Ensemble must participate in both marching band and one of the other concert organizations.
Membership is limited to approximately 20 students. In general the ensemble roster includes five saxophones, five trombones, five trumpets, lead guitar, bass guitar and three other rhythm players. The Jazz Ensemble performs numerous concerts each year and also performs in two, or three competitive festivals each year.
