Fundraising

For Individual Student Accounts:

About the Booster Student Accounts:
The funds raised by students are deposited into the Booster account to transfer to the Director's band account when needed. These funds "roll over" to the next year, so funds earned this year can help pay for a trip in the future as well.
But remember, this fund in not a savings account. Upon graduation, the credits in the account can be willed to a younger sibling in band, willed to the Senior scholarship fund, or will be rolled into the Booster General Fund that May.

Fundraising for the General Use Fund and Senior Scholarships

  • The General Use fund is used to cover expenses like equipment for the band, technicians, and other activities requested by the director.
  • The Senior Scholarship Fund is used to provide $10,000 in college scholarships each year to graduating seniors in the band. Applications are available on the web page and are due each March.
  • The Boosters also provide scholarships to band camp, usually in the amount of $100 to those who apply.
The following activities help build these funds:

The Student Band Council also hosts fundraisers to help raise the money needed for student-led activities like the banquet in May and get-togethers throughout the year. They have already held a car wash, and will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast in the spring. Be looking for information soon on those and ways in which you can help!
