All Region Band
Highly motivated students are encouraged to audition for the Region 8 All Region Band.
Earning a chair in the All Region Band is the first step to earning a chair in the Texas All State Band.
AMCHS has had numerous students earn positions in the Texas All State Band. Recently the following students have been members of the All State Band: Kyle J. Trombone, Brennan L. Trumpet, Yong O. flute, Michael H. Euphonium.
Membership in the All State is one of the highest honors a band member can achieve and most all state band members are awarded scholarships to the school of their choice.

On Saturday, Dec. 6, 2009, fifty members of the A&M Consolidated High School Tiger Band earned chairs in the Region 8 TMEA All Region Band. This is the largest number of AMCHS students to have earned a position in the All Region Band. In addition to earning positions in the all region band, 28 students advanced to the area round of competition and have the opportunity to earn a position in the Texas All State Bands.
