We have almost 500 students in our band program district wide. Our schools include:
A&M Consolidated High School (AMCHS),
A&M Consolidated Middle School (AMCMS), College Station Middle School (CSMS),
Oakwood Intermediate and Cypress Grove Intermediate.

Important Updates
The Aggies are in town, and that means football is right around the corner!
If you were assigned an Aggie Flag route by the flag committee, don't forget to come pick up your route packets, flags, and rebar THIS Thursday night at 7:00 pm in the Staff Parking Lot at the high school.
We have sold more than 1300 flags at this time. You can still sell subscriptions, just let the customer know they will not be able to get one for the first game.
1. If you did not pick up picture packets on Monday from Mrs. Meadows, she will be available this Thursday after school in the band hall from 3:45 -4:15. Orders can be placed in the Booster Mailbox in the band hall.
2. The directors have asked that all students wear black t-shirts for Monday night practices from 6-8:45 (it doesn't have to be the band shirts). This will help clean up formations by having a uniform color.
3. Mrs. Zeig, our color guard director has asked for some help from seamstresses. She needs people who can help sew color guard uniforms. She has the design. Materials will be provided and there will be compensation for your work. Contact her at nzeig@csisd.org if you are able to help.
4. This coming Tuesday, September 7 is Panda Day, All Day. Attached is a flyer to share with your family an friends. Panda Express is offering the band 20% of sales for the day when customers tell them they are with the band. Spread the word!
5. Booster Meeting (after you get your Panda) at 7 pm in the band hall. We will be sharing LOTS of fundraising information. See you then!

Mr. Henry sent home a permission letter to be signed and returned by Thursday, August 12, 2010. Once the trip is confirmed, he will need a non-refundable check for $100 to make flight reservations.
We will miss you, Trent Key.
The family has also asked that donations be made to the High School Band and Colorguard programs in lieu of flowers. The Boosters will be setting up a scholarship in his memory. If you would like to make a contribution, please make note in the memo line of your check and mail it to:

Muldoon's is offering to donate 10% of all sales between 7-9 pm each Thursday night through May 2011. They are located between Spoon's and Los Cucos on Texas Avenue. Stop by and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea!
